Feels Good Presents Folly Fest

FeelsGood Communities is proud to present the 5th edition of FeelsGood Folly Fest happening in the Village of Gagetown, NB June 28-30th 2013. Folly Fest is a multi-disciplinary arts festival featuring 80 musical acts on 4 stages, over 20 live artists on 3 stages, circus and tribal arts performance, kids programming and a fully local artisan and food market.

The music for this year is an eclectic blend of Funk, Folk, Hip Hop, Bluegrass, Rock and everything in between all programmed to blend seamlessly from toe tapping daytime songsters to late night ecstatic dancing. Musical acts for this year include Wintersleep, SHAD, Old Man Luedecke, David Myles, Scientists of Sound, Grand Theft Bus, Goosepimp Orchestra, Modern Grass, Keith Hallet, Gordon Gets Lost and many many more. For the full lineup please check out

Feelsgood has always been about the live art aspect of a festival, making things more colourful and bringing the art out of the enclosed studio and gallery spaces and into the public eye. Featuring Feelsgood artists, other arts collectives and leaving lots of room for public participation has always been the goal. This year will feature the No Fun Zone and TBA Art Collectives.

Every year Folly Fest adds something new that will become an annual event (2012 was the inaugural Folly Fest Big Kids Parade!) 2013 will see the first ever Silent Disco party held in New Brunswick. What is Silent Disco, you say? Its a late night dance party with no sound system, the music can only be heard through wireless headphones! This is sure to be an event to remember, happening when the stages close down all 3 nights of the festival allowing those who wish to go to bed the peaceful quiet to do so while allowing those late night dancers to do their thing as well.

Tickets for Folly Fest are available online at, all of their outlet locations as well as in paper form at The Picaroons Brewtique in Fredericton, Plan B Lounge in Moncton, Backstreet Records in Saint John, The Red Herring Pub in St Andrews & Obsolete Records in Halifax. Right now they are $105 for a weekend pass and will go up to $125 at the gate. Day Passes are also available at the gate; $30 for Friday and $60 for Saturday or Sunday
